Welcome to the 18th conference in the long tradition of Scandinavian Conferences on Image Analysis, to be held in Espoo (Helsinki Metropolitan area, 6 km West of the Helsinki city centre), Finland on 17-20 June 2013. The main conference will take place on 18-20 June, and tutorials and the workshop will be held on Monday, 17 June.

SCIA 2013 invites paper submissions presenting original work within relevant topics, see the Call for papers for more information. The deadline for full paper submissions was February 1 January 18, 2013.

The conference will be held in The Hanasaari Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre, located in the midst of an archipelago, close to the Helsinki city centre.

The conference is organized by the Pattern Recognition Society of Finland and sponsored by the IAPR and the IEEE Finland Section SP/CAS Joint Chapter. Further information: scia2013@hatutus.org
